It's Time To Make A Change: Go Green !

Recycling, healthy diet and planting trees are some of so many things we were thought to. Students have always been educated of so many things on how to preserve and help our mother nature. But what are we doing right now? Are we doing these things? Do we have this behavioural intent to make these things possible for the sake of our mother nature which has always been so good at providing us with what we need and even at providing us with our selfish desires?

Of course, it would be very hypocrite for us to say "yes", right? Because if we were just doing these things since the very beginning we should have not experienced those traumatic experiences brought to us by our mother nature. We have been so abusive in using so many things that we actually do not really need. We didn’t even think of the consequences that might happen before doing such things.

Many of us have lost their love ones already. Are we going to wait for it to happen to us before doing some actions that might prevent certain calamities? 

Do it now! Plant trees, recycle and have a healthy lifestyle. Yes, we are still students but we can make a change by doing simple things. We can even influence others in doing such. It only takes strong determination and freewill to make things possible.

DO THE RIGHT THING!

We have experience the devastating tragedy brought by the typhoon Sendong that killed almost 1,000 people, 1,000 still missing and 10,000 families who had lost their houses. Are we still going to sit, do nothing and wait for it to happen again and again? Or is it a sign for us to change our ways and do the right thing?

Now is the time to take care of our mother nature. We should have realize it before but we took it for granted. Plant trees, avoid throwing garbage and we can save life. Simple, isn't it? But why can't we do this? Why are we taking it for granted? Is it our fault why this tragedy happened? Are we to be blamed? Are we conforming to the saying that "humans are born selfish"?

Let us prove them wrong and let us help hand-in-hand in preventing such catastrophe to happen again and live life without problems !
